Wouldn't be better to "land" the lander on Gilly and use the claw to directly attach a miner? The gravity is low enough that you could use RCS to position as needed.

Actually I have been landing on the tail with the klaw closed. Kranefly's gyros are sufficient to stabilize indefinitely!
