"Eve: Order Zero" -- a KSP Graphic Novel (POSTLUDE COMPLETE...bet you didn't see THAT coming.)

So, basically, we got some stargate *^E"!")£$( going on? That or Narnia.
What I mean is that Kenlie is thinking up these devices that only exist in an alternate universe, it's kinda like Shadows of the Kraken with the dreams thing. Or, if he goes on to "invent" these alternate-reality objects, he would be Tesla! (If you didn't know, Tesla would have inventions randomly pop into his brain and in his mind he could take them apart and see how they work, Tesla was awesome)

The trust is real!

Sharkman, think about it. In the mirror universe, Kenlie's fiction doesn't exactly match the facts of the Kerbfleet universe. I don't recall anyone shooting down the (beautifully named) Atmosferikdipperkraft - do you? There is also no "Martistus" in the Kerbfleet universe. What this means is that Kenlie did not create the Kerbfleet universe (or vice-versa). Instead, he appears to have some kind of insight into what is happening in the mirror universe and uses that as inspiration for some of his stories. He thinks it's just his imagination, but it we know otherwise.

So, it seems to me that the two Kenlies are both as real as can be. They are both seeing imagery through the eyes of the other. The fact that Kenlie writes fiction (both Kenlies actually) has nothing to do with the existence of the devices or ships or the Kerbulans. I think it only makes him sensitive to seeing the images from his opposite number.

That's why I think it's ominous. It's not his imagination, it's something real that he's seeing. Hopefully he will realize it before the inevitable direct interaction between the two groups.

Happy landings!

So...Space Nerds vs. Proud Warrior Race, eh? My moneys on Kerbals :) They have dedication, lust for exploration, discovery and advancement through cooperation. And Admiral Awesome Shirley. Their evil counterparts have a Bob...with ugly facial scruff :D

Edit: I mean Noho, or Muho?
I don't think they did anything. It just disappears when you zoom out. Like in this image:

Right. I guess I can confirm this, it's important to know the narrative rules for any work of fiction: anything you see in 'comic' form is real, it comes from me. It is happening in real time, like it's being shot with a camera, UNLESS I identify it as a dream sequence or flashback. Unreliable narrators are kowmulch, IMO, and they insult the reader. I don't do that.

Hey, I was in a hurry :) It might look better if/when he finally, dramatically turns around. Here's what you should worry about: do they have a Bill?

Yes! Although a couple of weeks ago while I was doing the trial scene I was kicking myself for not calling the book "Code Purple".

Yeah, sorry about that. Being a Reliable Narrator, I'll confirm that 'the brown planet' exists for the Kerbulans just as Moho exists for the Kerbals. Both images (the one Bob Kerman is staring at and the one Bob Kermulan is staring at) at are taken at precisely the same zoom and focal point, and so in each one Moho ends up being too close to the sun to be rendered. Whoopsie! You guys have sharp eyes to have noticed that--but sorry, Moho not being there means nothing. Edited by Kuzzter
Hmmm... would Bill (in both universes/places) not notice something odd in the "persistance files"?
I'm not sure what you think he might notice. It's not like an update, where the kerbalverse suddenly experiences a fundamental shift. I would assume story-wise that the Kerbulans have always been wherever they are.

Not necessarily; Bill Kerman doesn't actually see the whole file. He just edits the parts of it that he needs to to correct something that's wrong...basically he's my in-story mechanism for whenever I have to go in there because of some glitch or bug.

Actually this is a very good question, so I just posted Bill's article in the canon thread with some key clarifications.

Uh oh! Looks like forum update is upon us (for reals this time :P ) And since any forum user with a bit of experience knows how Murphy's Laws love to wreak havoc with that, i must ask: Kuzzter, do you have backup copies of DOB and Eo0? Just in case, of course :P

So I think it's time to stop being coy.

Kuzzter has showed us (for those who want to know) exactly where the Kerbulans are and if you love Kerbfleet, you should be very scared.

See, like I said before, there are no transporters and Kuzzter doesn't dabble in magic other than when there's a game glitch and Bill has to do something 'meta' to fix it. The bloaking device may be considered an exception, but we generally know and understand the tech the Kerbals have. Without tech like a transporter, how can beings in two different universes interact?

Well, what if Kuzzter put a twist on the whole 'alternate universe' thing and decided to do it a bit differently?

He did. And all the clues you need to figure out what I'm talking about are in the comic.

Happy landings!

Yes, of course I have all the images locally and on Imgur. I don't have copies of your glorious comments though, so here's hoping that all gets retained as is planned.

Eeek! Now I'm scared! So yeah, I do find myself wondering if anyone other than Starhawk thinks they've figured the whole thing out. Not that it should lessen your enjoyment in any way if you have or you haven't, but it helps me to know whether I'm hitting or missing with this stuff.

So feel free to speculate and theorize along with Starhawk on the thread based on what you've seen or think you've seen. If you think you know something but aren't posting it because you don't want to spoil a surprise for others, please PM me and tell me what you're thinking. I won't give out spoilers by PM either, but I really am curious about whether the general readership is picking up the clues and whether your thoughts are going where I'm trying to lead them.

It'll be at least a few days of testing... various craft before any new comic starts.

I think it's in a retrograde orbit around kerbol.

But, if it was, the Kerbals would have seen Kerbulus pass them twice a year and would already know about it. You're thinking along the right lines, though.

Happy landings!

I think it may be important to note here that the Kerbals do NOT live in a universe with N-body gravity.
I think Bill have seen Kerbulus, and it might not be such a gray uninteresting place as everyone thinks it is.
But we've seen shots of Kerbulus. It doesn't look gray at all. It looks just like Kerbin. That is to say, blue.
