New crawlerway, 0.1km long (vs. the 50m long previous design) and with tracks.

Also a slightly better location has been found. An even smaller island about 100km north of the last location, which by a small chance has a plot of perfectly flat terrain

2 - Is a alternate pad Like Gagarin's pad planned?

That pad is designed to launch the Black Arrow rocket from Tantares, which is 1.875 metres.

A question though, how long must a runway be to comfortably land and take off? 1km? 2km?

It doesn't need to be the length of KSC for sure, but I'm not sure how small it can be.

1. There are no size / weight limits, but the pad itself is only 8 metres across.

2. Not at the moment.

So, is this going to evolve into a pack of several KK launch sites, or is the Woomera one the only site you plan on doing?

Beyond Woomera there are some assets kindly made by SnowWhite to create the N-1 Rocket Launch facility, so that :)
