No problem!

---------------

SAP-C is waiting for their new Moho-Class Shuttle "Hyperion" to finish, which may take a while as it is in very early development, in the meantime, SAP wants to offer the Saturn Shuttle Project a rather bare-bones contract, but with a special purpose:

Introducing.... Skysat 1!

Skysat 1 is designed to be launched into a polar orbit (try and get 90 degrees!) where it can secretly pick up signals from aircraft, check which planes they come from and if they are military or of enemy origin, relay the signals back to mission control, where they can monitor the signals and if needed deploy fighters.

Skysat 1 thus needs an orbit where it can easily observe these signals, we've figured out the perfect orbit for this: 280km, too low and the Skysat 1 could be detectable, too high and Skysat can't pick up strong enough signals, so SAP needs this done, and fast, as tensions are rising in the southern hemisphere between SAP's polar defense base and the nearby Kingu tribe, who has been stealing and using technology from anyone who comes near for over eighty years, so it needs to be stopped.

I meant to say, no shuttle involved! Unmanned launches with the occassional capsule launch.

Just a way to set mine apart.

Ah. Can't wait to see it :) .

Good luck for you :) . As to our mission? Np, we already have a probe in 90 degree orbit. Yours will be np for Inspiration, she's a beast.

Thanks, and glad to hear Skysat will be easy breezy, about the Hyperion...

Hyperion, the only Moho-Class Space Shuttle (as of now) has her upsides and downsides, on the upside she has over 4km/s (empty, has yet to be fitted with a theoretical payload.) along with good vacuum DV, on the downside, she only has one small MK3 cargo bay of cargo capacity and it pretty heavy, but the Hyperion will be perfect for launching (most) small payloads that fit in it's bay, the launcher will be designed to be able to lift this thing into orbit without use of the Shuttle's own fuel.

Well I hope all goes well!

Sounds great :D

I think tac life should added for realism.

Then vote on the poll so I know :) .

H.E.R.S was damaged when a micrometeorite broke it in two. H.E.R.S X, and updated version of H.E.R.S is hoped to be launched by your shuttle.

Also on one of the missions, if possible, we hope to get our most trusted pilot Sidski Kerman onboard.

We'll try to work your two requests in. Currently their both slated for SSM-16.

Hey, that reminds me, an interesting mod you could also use is Ship Manifest!

And...going to need to bring one of my crews home from Minmus...need to uninstall Chaka Monkey. Taking too much space in my modding ability

The Mohave Federation would like to send you it's Pruitt-Igoe heliocentric observatory.

Due to a mishap in shipping, no images have been taken, but we assure you if you use a proper Munar gravitational assist, you can put it into a heliocentric orbit.

The orbiter has about a 10,000 operatio ceiling, but if you'll provide a boaster stage which can carry it from a lower orbit to the desired one, we will be glad to do that :) .

Also your mission is slated for sometime after SSM-20.

Lastly, if you'd like to get the series rolling again, then please make some noise here ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/135033-Broken-Subassemblies-Random-other-issues?p=2211944#post2211944 ). That's where I'm asking for some help with this subassembly bug. Sooner its fixed, sooner I can work with you guys.

A group of protestors enraged over SSM-5 have started protesting outside the space center. They say space exploration is to dangerous and our funds should spent elsewhere. The space program would ignore this, but an extremist branch of these protestors has recently formed and have been leading armed strikes into the space center, specifically towards the location of SOV-004, Nomad. Security is on red alert. All launches from the KSC are grounded until this issue is solved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Outside of the mainland continent KSC, in another area working with new technology, and in creation of a new Launchpad (Launchpad 3), we will start working on our MicroSat Launch Program (MSLP). This will be for probes under 1t or less. It will be a cheap method of getting payloads such as boxsats into space. Great for universities, research groups or corporations. If a payload is too large then it can be launched via shuttle, even if part of a multiple deployment mission.

We're on our way back. I'm also going to be working on getting a working RSS/RO/RP0 install too, but I'm coming back.

The original SSM-11 mission is being changed to SSM-12's to keep going, but the payload for SSM-11 will be launched once 1.1 is released.

Ok, just thought i might suggest this as it is just a utility part mod. This being said, it might pave the way to more complicated satellites that could be launched by your shuttle as it uses infernal robotics at its core.

Its ok, but the more stock the better. Allows for a more open audience.

In other news- I may want to start reusing the SS as I am doing a The Martian style Duna mission (on top of the Eve mission from before), and the refueling may be a bit extensive, so I may need the SS to perform refuels of the drive module and or other modules. If you'd like to know more about my Duna missions, let me know. But any uses of the SS will be logged here.

Very cool read. But I do have to admit' date=' I am going to steal some of your Orbiter names :P

Love the sound of Determination.[/quote']

Thanks man! Tbh, names are not my forte :P . I just looked for names that sounded good and strong. Hence why a lot of the early orbiter are very Roman or Greek (with a few bland ones in there), such as Odyssey, or Hercules :) .

But thanks :) I'm hoping to get this going again soon.
