Just 9 minutes left, the red glow is obvious. Quite dim though because of the small amount of sunlit area.

It's definitely red, but there's a sliver of sunlight on the edge.

I wish I could lug my telescope outside and get a photo for those of you with clouds, but unfortunately it's far too late for that.

Are you kidding? It looks like only 10x brighter than a New Moon to me. The red is pretty hard to see...

Even with the cloud cover, I can see it. The entire sky has taken on a rusty color. Kinda creepy.

Ah, now it's covered by a cloud...normally the moon is bright enough to shine through a thin cloud like the one that's covering it, but not now.

Time to go back to sleep.

Really dark red/orange from Northern France at this time, and a lot lot of stars in the sky !!!

Yeah, I'm out in the sticks. The only light pollution comes from the car dealers. Makes me wonder what it would look like in the middle of nowhere with no man-made light sources.

4:30 AM here, it has just begun. It's nice and red. Unfortunately, I don't have the correct lens for my camera so I can't really take a photo of it, except for some terrible mobile phone photos. But hell, it IS interesting...

wow, well worth staying up (and being mauled by biting insects) to see that!

Wish I had something to photograph it with as I'm in the countryside with almost no light pollution and for once (in UK) we've got clear skies!

Looks a bit like a dying ember, amazing! Saw a shooting star as well!

No photos, but down in Miami, FL, I'm surprised I even got to see it what with all the clouds.

It was really cool. Busted out the old, beaten up telescope, but couldn't focus on it. Just enough cloud layer to render that impossible.

I saw it in southern minnesota so no clouds at all. so cool!! Ill update this tomorrow with pictures.

I just saw the moon from British Columbia, it was red alright, but some vines were in the way.

Update: I took a photo of it with my crappy Canon camera, unfortunately it was not red anymore.
