Nice - downloaded.

One note - the download link leads to the 0.2.4 beta release.

v1.0 is not released yet :)

I was preparing the thread yesterday when I had to stop due to irl reasons

I should be able to finish it today

...

v1.0 is now released

Quick question to be a pain: does this do anything to the copy of Eve that Galactic Neighborhood makes if OPM is installed?

I've never tried :)

Anyway, I was thinking to make this apply only on the opm clone for GN (in order to leave the stock system intact)

I haven't decided yet tho

Can we see how the cloud configs look on this?

I didn't put any screenshots of the clouds on purpose because I don't want to put too much emphasis on them.

Right now the cloud mods do not allow for easy compatibility between different cloud packs and planet packs.

If this will change in the future I will change my attitude towards them.

I had considered removing cloud support completely, but I don't see why players should have a worse experience just because someone wants to develop a mod that is a nightmare for compatibility.

Will it be possible to make this compatible with the new version of EVE for 1.0.5? I've installed the Jool/Eve recolors and the planet surfaces are recolored but the clouds are not. Thanks for this mod. It's one of my favorite simple visual mods!

EDIT:

Nvm, just saw your post in the OPM Clouds thread.

Nvm, just saw your post in the OPM Clouds thread.

I'm currently a bit swamped at work, I plan to update all my mods to use ksp 1.0.5 and kopernicus 0.5 as soon as I get the irl stuff off the way :)

In the meantime my official position is that this mod is designed for ksp 1.0.4 and kopernicus 0.4

You can try loading it with newer patches, but I can't guarantee you it'll work ;)

The procedural clouds, please.

Can they be used on terrestrial planets?

I thought they were only supposed to be used with gas giants.

anyway, if there is some mod that actually adds purple clouds to Eve using kopernicus expansions I will make this recolor compatible with that. Like I did for JoolRecolor.

I will not make the clouds myself tho, the point of this mod is not to add new features but rather to change the color of the planet ;)

Thank you! The clouds on Jool and Eve will not change colors when using EVE. Any quick fix I can do?

The new EVE config structure don't allow me to give full support to clouds so I haven't added the feature yet.

I haven't used the new GUI much, but basically for the planet Eve should be enough to change HUE to 20, and for jool to 15

I got  Environmental Visual Enhancements , but clouds are still purple

Trying to guess here, but I think you either:

1- have the latest release of EVE (which is not yet updated to the new config structure)
2- have Stock Visual Enhancement (which has the correct config structure but the wrong textures)

you could try downloading the development version of EVE here https://github.com/rbray89/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements

(click on download zip)

you will find the boulderco folder inside the zip-master/ContentConfigs/GameData/BoulderCo

and use that with the "Environmental Visual Enhancements" folder from Stock Visual Enhancement.

for now this is the easiest way to do that (that I know)

(btw, it isn't intended to be this fiddly, when EVE will be update it'll work out of the box)
