Interesting.....

Also I think you are already aware of the scatterer vs Scatterer folder naming thing in Linux? Really @blackrack should rename his, for proper naming, but you are providing configs for his so I suppose it's up to to make it work? ;)

Yeah, next release will have the correct naming so Linux users don't run into issues :)

wait, what?

In my download I have the scatter folder with an uppercase S, so its Scatterer. On Linux everything is case sensitive so when they install my Scatterer config it doesn't go to your scatterer folder and overwrite things, it just has its own separate folder that doesn't do anything.

I.e. on Linux it'd be like

GameData/scatterer/config/files and then it'd also have a GameData/Scatterer/config/files that doesn't overwrite the first one.

I see, but doesn't this actually make it more confusing?

oh okay, how can i increase that? or how can i change that

You can try forcing the game to use OpenGL or DirectX 11. You can also try using Dynamic Texture Loader. If that all fails there is always the 64-bit workaround but if you use that you will run into the problem of most mod developers not offering you help if you encounter a bug as it is likely caused by using the workaround.

Also Linux, don't forget and run it in 64bit natively, though not the best option unless you are already familiar with Linux

Yeah, but that's a bit more complicated for some :sticktongue:

@Nhawks17 I really love your mod! :D It works perfectly with Sigma Dinemsions (Rescale mod that you put your own desired scale and everyting, made by @Sigma88). And finally, no scatter artifacts! WOOHOO (Dx9, 64-bit workaround, Windows 10, UR of SVE)

yes, @Nhawks17 help was pretty useful when I looked into cloud rescaling. :)

@Nhawks17 have you been able to get either of the latest version of EVE and Scatterer to work together? No matter what do I can't get both running on any given KSP install?

I'm running 0.22 of scatterer and the latest dev build of EVE. It runs fine for me I just have some weird horizon artifacts that is caused by something in SVE.

Ok, I managed to get them working together somehow, I have no idea what I did though, literally just tried multiple combinations of old and new RVE/Scatterer/EVE components. Does 0.22 come with the ocean shaders btw?

Yep! He fixed the artifacts that were showing up on OpenGL sometimes as well.

Hey Nhawks17, I am having an issue that I thought was fixed with the newest version of SVE. My problem is the disappearance of clouds upon reaching the ~60km range above Keebin and reappearing around the 175km range (the same altitude in the PQS config, coincidentally). What files and their contents would I have to edit to fix the problem? I have SVE, scatterer, OPM and OPMVO installed. Thanks for your time, and keep up the very impressive work!

Do you have any logs or pictures? I'm not experiencing it myself but I am using a newer dev version of EVE than is in the current release so you might try getting that.

I am using the EVE bundled with SVE. I shall have to try the development version of EVE. Thank you for the help.
