​Hi, does somebody know where you can find information about making procedural planets and is it normal that you fall through the ocean of new oceanplanets?

Dont think so, plus I could see some problems with going about it. I do know you can make planets and mod them in though.

yeah i'm working on a planet mod but with each planet with oceans my probes fall through the texture of the ocean till they collide with the oceanfloor.

If you're using Kopernicus (which everyone who's making a planet does): the v0.4 has a buoyancy incompatibility with 1.0.5 that causes this problem.

The author knows about it and is working on a fix, but it's not out yet.

So the best thing to do is just hold tight, wait until the Kopernicus update is out, and avoid the oceans until then.

already seen it. I am still working in 1.0.4 because of freezing problems of the game while inserting mods in 1.0.5.

Just make sure you are making planets for the right reason. Don't make them for praise, make them because you want to make a good planet pack. Make sure you release products that are actually playable and are not buggy as heck. Make sure you give credit where credit is due, and remember, above all else, planet modding is harder than you first think.
