Ugh. This is a big deal for me. Does anyone else view forum threads this way? I always want to see the newest port firsts. I can see how to sort the list of threads by last reply, but I'm not sure why I can't do this in a thread itself. It's extremely irritating to be seeing everything backwards, and to have to go to the last page and scroll down every time. 

 

Kasper, is this a function is IPS at all?

That is very nice. Almost as nice as the ability in the old forum to manually edit the quotes to split them up into separate pieces

Alright people, I'm trying to understand what just happened. I seems the forum got attacked by the Kraken itself. I had a perfectly good page until SQUAD decided to release the Kraken. and all my hard work got destroyed. Can someone explain me how to clean this mess. For unknown reason, tables are no longer supported. How am I supposed to format large amount of detailed data now?

SQUAD Upgraded the forums to a new software, with no BBcode editor.  Sorry, you could try spoilers?

I would suggest linking a spreadsheet of your data until we figure out something for tables; otherwise you can use the somewhat clumsy workaround of manual HTML tables, details here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/126596-tables-in-posts-and-signatures/

I did some googling, and it looks like IPS does not support viewing topic replies in reverse chronological order.  (Latest replies/comments in a thread at the top of the page)

I feel like I'm reading everything upside-down, and in reverse. There is a feature in the list of topics to go to the latest unread reply by hitting the blue circle, or yellow star, but it only works if if it's unread. If you've already read the latest reply in a topic, and want to go to that last reply, you have to open the topic, go to the last page, and scroll all the way down. 

This is totally maddening. It's such a simple setting to have in a forum...

Also related, does anyone know why Settings and Content is grayed out and un-clickable in this menu?

The side bar color is that #A6BAD9? I think I like it better then #C3C3C3 that I'm using.

Those are just headers for categories.

Does the fact that they looked like grayed out entries in the list make me stupid, or the UI stupid? I feel like it could go either way...

Can a moderator or Kasper comment on reverse-chronological order? Am I correct in assuming that it's just not an option with IPS?
