Great concept and very good visual styling!

Don't worry about any spelling errors.  English is not the 1st language of Kerbals, either, so I just assume they make all the mistakes and you are just faithfully reporting their words as they actually said them :D

Thanks, guys! I don't think I have ever had such a good reception for any of my fictions, and that includes a novel :D I will make my best effort not to dissapoint.

You sure haven't disappointed me! I'm enjoying this greatly, I must say.

As to the whole gender issue, I think is a clever way to flesh your world and make your story more than a simple mission report, with real conflicts, issues and societal problems incorporated into it.

The internet being what it is though, I concur that it can become a can full of worms and the ensuing discussion would probably miss the point entirely, which is the enjoyment and sharing a wonderful story!

Loved the second chapter, especially the use of the vessel viewer to show the designs. However, I found the two designs a bit too similar, which is understandable at this point, with so few tech nodes unlocked. How do you plan to give the competing "programs" their own visual identities? Will you define certain parts as "exclusive" to Jeb or Valentina?

I think it would be really nice to see them pursuing alternate design strategies: for instance, while one would do the classic CSM+LM combo for a munar landing, the other would try a direct approach, with an Advanced Gemini-like approach; or while one would build a space station using a shuttle, the other would go for a sort of Apollo Applications program. What do you think?

That's definitely planed!  As for what parts each can use, check the google docs spread sheet to see how far each program has gone. Warning: may contain spoilers. Also, it's very poor design, since I hate excel and have never learned to use it proper.

Heh, that first panel is very Hitchhikers Guide like. :P Once again, another amazing chapter, and the use of real space images is something I certainly hadn't thought about.

Arthur Dent makes that question about magratheans... And that's the answer :)

Hey there Musil! I don't mean to rush you by any means but I just read your post over at Plan Kappa reminding me of your comic. Have you abandoned the project or is it just that you like to roast your readers on low heat?

Not at all! I just came back from a two week vacation in Colombia, which explains the lack on new chapters, but I immediately started work on the next one. 7 pages ready already :)

Wow, I hope you had a great vacation. I envy you for this trip to the southern hemisphere, I can't stand the cold here.

Happy drawing / designing / writing / sowing discord between Kerbals

Ehem... (unconfortable cough). Actually,  a trip to the northern hemisphere. I do live south of the equator,  but Colombia is North of the line ;)

Great chapter! I'm very curious to see where this "space paranoia" is leading to, but I'm also really enjoying the dispute. What's next for team Jeb. Will Bill grow a mustache to beat Bob's new hair?

Ha! Yeah, Bill is growing a "Werner" mustache. I didn't have extra kerbal faces installed when I started, but now I realice it could help tell all the different kerbals apart. As more characters are introduced, it could become a clone nightmare.

As for the space paranoia... Mua hua hua hua! [evil laughter].

Oh... now I'm confused. You didn't mean the south-american country then? I'm starting to understand why my geography teacher didn't like me. :)

Nice work on the interior scene. And what could this eerie feeling mean? Evil Kraken lurking on the edge of perception?

Lol... Yes, I did mean the country in South America, but it's north of the line of the equator, and therefore in the northern hemisphere. This map shows where it is in relation to it. So I traveled to the North in relation to where I live, which is at -33º latitude and, therefore, in the southern hemisphere. But don't worry, I think it was hotter there than it is here now, even at the peak of summer. Very beautiful.

edit: oh, and interior scenes, as I suspected, are hell. Any help or advice is appreciated.
