Hello Kerbalnauts, this is a mod I am working on that adds science experiments. This is my first ever mod, and any feedback is appreciated. This is currently for KSP version 1.0.5, last updated on February 28, 2016.

THIS IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED. THIS WILL NOT BE UPDATED.

Done:

-Pee Experiment

-Science Lab (Removed until V0.0.7 because of bugs)

-Sonic Emitter

-Atmospheric scoop

-Electrostatic Analyzer

-Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer

Please note, this is my first ever mod, and has lots of bugs. I am not responsible for anything that happens to your game.

I have a Trello so you can see what the future holds.

Hmm - Kerbalstuff seems to be down right now (not just your mod) - will download when it's back up.

Suggestion: add KSP version, date of last update and mod version to your title - makes it easier for people using your mod to spot updates.

And thanks for taking the time to make this!

Just UNINSTALLED it, with it installed I can't right click and use my other science parts.

Once uninstalled I can do science with the other parts.

NOTE: I only got as far as installing the sound thing and the air scoop? (The 2 earliest parts in the tree)

NOTE #2: Those 2 parts should be reduced to 1/2 the current size.

NOTE #3: Just in case you need to troubleshoot I'm using the 64bit hack & I have "ForScience" & "[X]Science" mods installed. (I don't think any of the other mods would affect it, although the 64bit hack might)

Hmm I was able to replicate this but have no clue what would have caused it (help?). I'm looking into it and most likely will be fixed in 0.0.6.

Hi.

First excuse my poor English. It is not my native language.

I want to congratulate you for the work of your new mod.
But I found some bugs and I wanted to share first with the creator.

These bugs do not allow any kind of science in other mods.

I think I've solved these bugs, even've tried it successfully.

The problem was some of the CFG files and some lines EXPERIMENT_DEFINITION.

As far as I know, in the line "experimentId =" can not be named like "name =" in the part file.

example:
name = peeExperiment
experimentId = peeExperiment

I allowed myself to make some changes and have also converted the image files to DDS, to reduce capacity.

I uploaded the zipped file in .rar. for you to take a look.  I've already sent a private link to download the changes.

Cheers

Thank you! But the actual problem (as far as I can tell) was that the alpha magnetic spectrometer didn't have any science logs (I forgot to move the new science logs into the release :P). I added science logs for it, and it worked. Also, the textures will be in DDS form in the next update. It will hopefully be out today.
