Possible to have smart parts like functions as a right click menu?

I like smart parts, but it hasn't been updated for 1.0.5, and honestly it has a lot of parts and features I never used.

 

I made a lot of use of the timer function, the fuel gauge function, and the altimeter.  The fuel jettison was handy for some stuff too I guess. 

Is it even possible to make a mod to add these functions to the tweak menu of parts instead of forcing us to add a physical part?  Like give all parts that carry fuel the ability to stage when at a certain amount?

I was just reading about "stage and a half" rockets  and thought it would be fun to be able to build a rocket that staged some engines when it reached a certain altitude or fuel level of a central core tank, automatically.

Smart parts uses modules so you should be able to integrate them in others parts easily. 

I did not notice it was not maintained anymore. Since I took the others dtobi mods I could have a look at this, but post 1.1.

That would be amazing,  I totally understand not taking anything up till after 1.1

 

I tried just adding the module to another part, but it replaced that parts right click menu with the smart part menu exclusively,  so I donot know if it's functions can be Written to play nice.

I added the radio module to all command pods,  set the default to 11 (lights) so it is totally possible to add the module to your part of choice.

Well. Apparently I'm stupid because I was unable to add the altitude module to jack all without it replacing all the entire menu with just the altitude module info. But I repeat myself.

Do you have any contact with him? I wanted the Philly Klaw from his Asteroid Cities mod, either updated to play with, or adopt. Whichever the situation warranted.
