Plant A Flag On The North Pole

The mission is to fly to the north pole of Kerbin and plant a flag exactly on the point were the poles switches.e.g:

You can see by the stripes that I planted the flag in the middle. (Edit:O.k. the flag is not planted ...yet. )

You will know when you reached the point as your navball will switch N/S.

Use mods if you like, but I think stock is the coolest way to do it.

Prove with a screenshot where we can see the planted flag in map mode. (like mine)

I will put up a scoreboard if people are interested.

The polar landing was tricky with the payload.  Needed to drive cross the ice cap till reaching the North pole. 

The flag planting was tricky.  I thought Bill might have slipped on the ice. 

 

Closest Bili could get without getting dizzy.

 

After the flag planting the team then launched a rocket but that was for something completely different.

 

 

Edit:

The South pole needed some love so the team headed down there. 

 

Took a quick sub orbital flight.  The second attempt the plane did not lose its engine.  After landing mono propellant was used to roll the 2.5 km distance.

Yes.

Edit: I had to go south now...

I have planted both flags now; North and South pole.
