Natural logarithm. It's like regular (base 10) logarithm, but with base e (Euler's number) instead.

Edit: of course, if you work with physics, a lot of time base e seems the normal one and it's the base 10 that's weird.

To get back in the theme of the thread, you've played too much KSP if you can describe what Delta-V is without referencing the above article.
