I think non-humanlike robots will become more popular (or at least resemble humans, but a lot less than this) simply due to that. She is creepy. 

It also raises the question of robot ethics and control of the technology.

The problem i saw was that her eyes didnt move, They stayed staring in one direction the whole time, The eyes need to focus on things around her, Especially things that would catch the eye of a human, The eyes should also have a slight random twitch.

 I have a feeling that if human robots become a thing, they'll be made cartoonish and obviously not human, just to bypass the uncanny valley.

I'm looking forward to my IRL MegaMan. Hey, if Capcom won't make any games for it...

That is an simple solution for all sort of service robots you will interact with, you know its an robot so why try to hide it, on the other hand having it showing emotions is an benefit then interacting.

It's easier to animate emotions than physically show them. Moon did it that way.... And it wasn't creepy. It was just smiley faces and variations of those.
