If there was a proper asteroid belt and an outer system, I would totally go there and set up a really cool fueling network, but there isn't. Sorry, Dres.

I don't use OPM's. I probably will when 64k support comes though.

I've never used them either. But why would I spend time on a gateway to Jool when it's not that hard to just go directly to Jool? ΔV from Kerbin-Dres to Kerbin-Jool is 370 m/s. Spending over 1200 m/s (not even counting plane changes) stopping at Dres to refuel seems like an awful waste when I could just put a little extra fuel in my rocket to begin with. If there were planets over twice as far away as Jool, I might consider it, or if I had a really big Jool ship that for some reason needed to repeatedly go between the Jool system and the huge empty region between Duna and Jool.

Nobody said you had to use Dres as a refueling base...
