Is there a mod for better planet textures?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.  It has been so long since I played.  I have a very high end system and I used to have a mod that made Kerbin, Mun and all the textures look amazing.  Can someone direct me to one or a few?  Also, if mods are made for old version, will they still work with the 64-bit version?

Endraxial's planet textures are good you can find them in the texture replacer thread 

Other than that I don't know. And I'm not 100% sure it works but give it a go! On the subject of older mods,  if the mod has not been updated to 1.1 then no,  they won't work.  There are however quite a few mods that have been updated to the 1.1 prerelease. Here's the thread for that.

I'd like to echo the question in the thread title... besides Endraxial's textures, and Realism Overhaul, are there any others? I mean, not graphics mods in general (I know plenty of those), but actual textures for the stock planets?

I've used Endraxial's in the past, and I'll happily use them again - I'm just wondering if there are other options I've somehow never seen.
