The idea with this is that since mouse aim flight is also binded to roll for all of its modes, it makes flying very interesting, when you try to use MAF for a long and precise knife edge of an inverted low pass or what. it isn't possible, because of the auto correction of the roll axis.

One solution for this might be using your keyboard. MAF binds controls to the mouse, but using WASD (and QE for roll) is still possible. Granted, this makes the flight quite jittery, but it's one way to do it. You might get rid of the jitteryness if you make your plane aerodynamically acrobatic enough.

is there a way to get the mouse circle and pointer to appear for this if it isnt visible?

IIRC if you press "P" or "O" should toggle the automatic controls on or off, the other will switch between modes.

The controls worked fine... but the visual reference circles are not there.  (this part)  (and I have checked the folder for the mod and it does contain image files for these)e955e77dff.png

All crafts I've tried this on so far dont work, it usually just overcorrects and wobbles around a lot.
Anything I missed?

Too much control authority, you might be used to it, but mostly unnecessary for actual flight.

Decrease the deflection angle of your control surfaces, especially canards, and have fewer of them if you have too many, that will help a lot.

I also recommend using whatever is the latest ongoing version of FAR.

Oh thanks for bumping this thread I was meant to ask could we get it so when a Kerbal goes unconscious mouse aim flight also stops working because as it stands now when that happens the keyboard inputs stop working as expected but mouse aim flight still allows me to control the craft.

Thanks in advance

Could you change a few things?
1. Have some sort of indicator where your mouse is when its off the screen.
2. Have a type of sensitivity which changes how aggressively  the craft points towards where your mosue is pointing, if im making a small adjustment, I'd prefer a lower chance of overshooting.
3. When map view is open, temporarily disable MAF, since rotating the view or moving the mouse at all will still control your craft, and by the time you close the map view, its probably already too late.
4. Please get this on CKAN.
