reminds me of 2010 odyssey two when SPOILER Jupiter gets a black spot created by the monoliths that turned Jupiter into a star. SO MABEY JOOL IS BECOMING A STAR END SPOILER so that's my idea as to what's happening. Or it could just be a shadow :P

It shows how relatively big and close Jool's moons are. Eclipse shadows on Jupiter look tiny in comparison. If the Jovian system was a scaled-up version of the Joolian system, then Io, Europa, and Ganymede would be the size of Venus, Mars, and Earth respectively.

There are two ways I can interpret this, and both of them will possibly cause negative repercussions upon my forum account.

The third way is that it gets very cold inside the eclipse, causing high winds art the edges of it so it causes huge storms to form out of the turbulence.  You're welcome.

I do use EVE.  But it would be cooler if it wasn't a shadow.

Are we all willfully ignoring the fact that @davidpsummers has a mission called Bopitty?? *snigger* :sticktongue:

Ok, sober face back on. What a lovely black spot.

Well, it was late and it's hard to come up a good pagan god or something for every mission!

If that is how it's going to be, I won't tell you my mission to Pol was called "Polly".

I think "if you know what I mean" was misinterpreted

ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS
EXCEPT LAYTHE
ATTEMPT NO LANDINGS THERE

Jeb and Val stand on a small island on Laythe, a swarm of monoliths somehow glaring angrily at them... ▋

Jeb: "We weren't trying to land!" :D
Val: "And we didn't 'land", so much as crashed..."
