What would you change if life was a simulation, and open sourced?

I still find it disturbing that no one else seems to care that they have suddenly discovered that everything they understood about the nature of existence is a lie.

Especially considering you just learned that your universe can be *turned off*. To be fair though, the offer of ultimate(sortof) power does soften the blow somewhat.

This command potentially can give illegal items and is prohibited in some realities.

void bestIdeaEver

{

for(int n = 0; n < population; n++)

{

if(populationDatabase.get(n).playsKerbalSpaceProgram())

{

populationDatabase.get(n).set("God Mode", true);

}

}

matrix.defenseSystem("disable");

}

OK, now the code I'd put in and run would be:

bestIdeaEver();

I would spend 30 minutes trying to debug the human race, get frustrated and delete the entire universe. Then I would frantically search the recycle bin to recover the universe.

Or just Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right-A-B-Start.

Giving my self admin access of course, and making some backdoors in case I get booted. After ward I will make copies of the code and make sure I have backups. I will be the ruler of multiple universes!

I have always found that playing games with godmode on becomes boring awfully fast. I would not enjoy becoming bored with the universe.

Multiply the NASA budget by 5000000%

The year 2023: NASA has quickly supplanted the US government as the dominant political force on Earth. The organisation used their new-found wealth to build all-powerful orbital warships and quickly punish anyone and anything that does not bow to its will. Life on Mars has been planted there, only so that it could be eradicated in a show of force. All hail the probe, for it is your new master.

Based off a comment I wrote in this thread:

So, the question is, imagine life being a simulation. However, you and only you have discovered how to alter the codes of this simulation. You can only make one change before the simulation detects an intrusion and upgrades it's defense, making any more changes impossible.

Basically, if you could change only one thing in this universe, what would it be? It can be anything.

...

Too bad its open source.  I'd charge for the additional DLC.
