"V-T Torchilidea 3" Micro Tilt-Wing Vtol

This is just a prototype, the 3rd version of a few attempts at a dual-juno powered Tilt-Wing Vtol:

 

The Album has tons more Photos and more detailed words about how the thing works and some of the Design.
As well as some info on the Hinge system. But here are some shots:

Easy Take-Offs, in either modes. For this Demonstration I went for a Horizontal take-off.

Its  a bit nippy with its reaction wheels, they're there to aid in transformation.

 

1.5~ish TWR, not optimal but it serves its purpose.

Hinge Mechanism:

The 2 Engine Nacelles are Connected, then offset magic-ed apart.

The Antennae act as an axle 

The axel is sandwiched between some Thermometers on top and bottom

The Fuel tanks are offset apart enough to fit the antenna in between them.

 Are the two jets one part and offset away from each other? What does the central part rotate around?

@Majorjim! Correct, it uses the same system as the Wasp Mk1 where the 2 tanks are placed on each other and Gizmo'ed apart.

@Dafni A bit yeah  though the current gear situation is that those are most likely just place-holders for some retractable gears
