For the challenge, I am now at the first flag ready to start. The best way to time the stage is by making a screenshot here and hit the "W" key as fast as you can. Next step will be to stop close (?) to the next flag and make a screenshot. Then calculate the correct time between those screenshots and that will be your time. Sounds good to me ... pretty much what I was going to do (if I don't just record it instead ) Although I'm just gonna start from the runway which will add a few seconds or so, but I'll take the hit ... Same with at each stage, I will use vessel mover to spawn a new vehicle at each checkpoint so the time will be reset to 0 each leg of the race (I will take a hit of a few seconds at each time but I'm ok with that) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The reason the flag is there is that it used to be the finish. The last 7KM or so is "Victory Valley". I like the idea of naming the stages, stage 2 + 3 are hell, but there are a lot of deathtraps in the rest of the stages. Makes me wanna pick my Elcano trip back up... EDIT: if your Kerbals are in external command seats, refrain from bulldozing the flags at 45m/s. The flag stole Jebs seat. Azimech Posted December 14, 2016 Share Posted December 14, 2016 Not as fast as Star Racer YKR due to a lot of drag but I'm finally happy with my modified Charger R/D (Road/Dirt). It looks like a blend between Fast & Furious and Mad Max. After the first stage It already consumed 150 of the 600 units of fuel. I'm glad I'll be running in economy mode for a while.
