Space Engine Adventures!

Recently I got a 16-gig computer, which meant I could play Space Engine better than I had before! I immediately went to edit a planet into a GJ 1132b analogue, based off an atmospheric analysis with the HST earlier this month.

Yesterday I went searching for a planet very similar to Alderaan while inside the Leo 1 dwarf galaxy. The plan was to find this planet that was almost exactly like Alderaan with its radius, mass, gravity, atmosphere, orbit, and temperature. I found said planet in an 8-world system orbiting twin stars like Tatooine. But I made the best of it an edited that world until it looks almost exactly like Alderaan! It was made as a tribute to Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia of Alderaan in the Star Wars films.

Since I'm in a galaxy with so many habitable worlds, I better make the most of it!

Over Winter Break I got into some..."shenanigans" with the Edit Planet tool.

I got bored of finding Earth analogues and totally messed up this double star system. First I baked the secondary's habitable Terra in 300 atmospheres of greenhouse gases before putting it right in front of the star. Then I went over to the primary and increased the eccentricity of a Temperate Gas Giant to 0.968! It was a pretty cool view from its moon. The sun would be getting large, larger, larger...and then it takes up the entire horizon! But then it recedes away after eating a few moons. But then I got the sadistic AMAZING idea to throw the primary's terra into the star. So I did. And I turned the star in a blue-black ball because WHO NEEDS LOGIC?

I ended up editing system after system after system until I made four planets into STARS. Then I fled the galaxy and found a new one billions of light-years away from Earth. I named it "Jeb's Galaxy" and proceeded to find many strange, inhabited worlds. I was exploring Jeb's Galaxy for a few days before going back to the Local Group to make new textures for Interstellar Adventure Revived.

More recently, I've decided to recreate certain planets. I've re-made several planets in the Kepler catalogue, including 37b and 442b.

Earlier today I made planetary replicas of all four (plus one) Alola islands from Pokemon Moon. I felt like it was something cool to do.

I made my own solar system in Space Engine as well as Several galaxies so i could visuallise my fictional races planet and features of space

It would be cool if I could import space engine maps into stellaris.  Or go backwards, let it run for a few million or billion years and get a realistic galaxy (if tiny) to import back in.
