I have no idea if it will break your career. From what I have been told, the code was taken directly from Galactic Neighborhood, and it includes bits of code that is only relevant to Galactic Neighborhood, and may cause issues with kopernicus. AlexStylin
Is it normal for this mod to skewer my performance? With a ton of visual mods but otherwise unmodded (running Scatterer, EVE, Planetshine, and a couple minor things like HotRockets) I was getting consistently 50-60 FPS, with maybe 10-second load times, but after a fresh install with this mod it takes a solid 10 minutes for the game to boot up and my framerate is at maybe 30 FPS but it constantly plummets. Are there some Scatterer or EVE settings that are really performance-draining or is this mod just that much more demanding than the base game? I've noticed that my game performance plummets with the EVE settings, sadly, but the 10 minute load is normal due to the large amount of planets in the mod

Do you just turn EVE off or do you still use it? What's your typical FPS with it if you do keep it installed?

What I just do is keep EVE when I'm not attempting getting close to a planet, and to conserve RAM I remove EVE and restart the game when I'm gonna be doing long-term land missions

Thanks and some of the screenshots (Alvarise, for example) was just me testing using Hyperedit. Most of those screenshots were from me doing a (mostly) legitimate career, and I ended up stumbling on something pretty and I said "hey, that's pretty neat" and took a screenshot that I felt looked good. In the end, I filtered through all my screenshots and picked out the ones that I felt were the best. DAMAN2U1
Hello, First i would like to express my excitement and admiration towards this mod, and my utmost respect for everyone involved in making this. As someone that has been a die hard KSP fan for years now, I can honestly say this is the most impressive work for this game that I have ever come across. I have successfully installed this mod, and to the best of my knowledge, I have followed every instruction perfectly. The only thing I cant seem to figure out is getting the clouds to work on the various planets with atmospheres. I know scatter is working properly, and I followed the correct instructions for the visual enhancement installations under the separate download labeled "Visuals". I have tried to adequately search the 50 pages of this topic to find an answer, and either its not there, or I missed it. If I did miss it, i apologize for this repost. I have included pictures of Kerbin, Duna, and EVE to give u a visual representation of what I am seeing in game, and hopefully a solution could be given to me. Thanks in advance to any help I might receive on this subject.

Man, I wish my computer could handle visual mods and KSS at the same time. I'm really missing out. I notice that you have pictures of both regular Duna and Terraformed Duna. I'm curious, what's your preferred combination of optional planets? I typically have regular Duna (because I like Mars) and Tropical Laythe installed. If you look closely, you can notice that a few of those pictures were taken before 0.6, which is when I decided to look at Terraformed Duna and noticed there's no bad angle on that planet. Also, you should see my framerate when I try landing on a planet 10 hours ago, DAMAN2U1 said: Hello, First i would like to express my excitement and admiration towards this mod, and my utmost respect for everyone involved in making this. Yes, i installed the latest version of EVE, and the folder labeled "clouds" has a folder named "KSS_clouds" that I put in the general "KSS" root folder. So the directory for this cloud addition would be GAMEDATA\KSS\KSS_CLOUDS. Or is it supposed to be alongside the main KSS folder? Such as GAMEDATA\KSS_CLOUDS? I tried adding the two additional star systems with no success, and I am 99.9 percent sure i installed everything right. Perhaps I have an intermittent glitch unique to my situation or gaming rig. The mod is still immensely entertaining with or with out clouds on the planets, and I will look forward to any possible fixs you come up with in the future. Once again, thanks for this fantastic mod.
