Pretty sure I’m conflating with an F9 issue where hydraulic fluid froze (not water) at very high altitude. Before going all electric in F9. 2017? darthgently
I’m not sure what thread to put this in. This is what you get when an intern whose tried to keep up with successive midnight scrubs handles your socials? F9 looks like the Firefly Blue Ghost launch

I’ve seen here and there some speculation, like less air traffic in the booster LZ area but that just doesn’t seem persuasive.

darthgently Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM (edited) Friday does look much clearer and calmer. But they should probably just send the dang thing. Exactly. Landing Platform #1 aka Jacklyn is currently at 28.01824, -74.1329 Winds at launch time at that location forecasted around 14 kn from mostly north. Forecast Friday would be 22 kn. If they want to stick the landing seems better to launch tonight Not sure that is final barge location but has to be close. The vessel left Port Canaveral on the 2nd (!) darthgently Posted yesterday at 03:14 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:14 AM (edited) Tug Harvey Stone is only other vessel nearby for many, many miles. Out from Canaveral since the 2nd also. I bet that tug crew really hopes they send the dang thing tonight more than any other ppl on the planet Edited yesterday at 03:17 AM by darthgently
darthgently Posted yesterday at 04:18 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:18 AM Sea state at LZ does look a little better Friday but wind is worse. But I’m not sure how accurate the app is for sea state.
