(Specifically the "MAS IVA"). Is this a problem with the mod (in which case, please fix it, it's all that's keeping me from my dreams of an iva-only apollo mission) or is this just something I'm doing wrong? All the other IVAs seem to work fine, but this one means that I can't use freeIVA to go between the command module and the lunar module, and I have no idea how I would go about fixing this problem myself. I know the other ones work, but I really like the look of that IVA, and it lets me have more "authentic" controls. It's not some magic, just a huuuuge texture and some math from @vulcans to shift the texture according to coordinates. Should work with the original MAS dll as well because UVshift is a basic MAS function. I reused this conversion formula in my own MFD with my own maps and it works somehow (the error is huge at polar areas but at the equator the map is pretty accurate). I'm sure the missing 'then' would have eventually caused a problem. But I don't think the system is even attempting to execute anything inside of PW_Keypad_Decimal (or PW_Keypad_Clear). I made your suggested changes and tested. The two keypad keys which call PW_Keypad_Decimal and PW_Keypad_Clear still don't work, and still produce the in-game error: [AvionicsSystems]:INITIALIZATION ERROR CHECK MESSAGE LOG. My Player.log still has the exact same error. I think the text "attempt to call a nil value" within that error translates to this: "Hey! I don't know what to do here. Something is causing the .lua file to not load, assuming the path is correct, are you maybe using a non-English OS? Or maybe there's atypical characters in the pathname? Maybe run scandisk/fsck? Turns out this wasn't something strange like atypical characters in the pathname. Instead, it was user error on my part. I had a mismatch between the path specified in the PW_Scripts.cfg file (which described where to find the .lua files) and their actual location.
