KSP Crashed on Startup

KSP Crashes when i try to start the game, i just updated my drivers and i dont have any mods installed.

Your log file says you have two copies of MechJeb installed, one in GameData\MechJeb2, and the other in GameData\Squad\MechJeb2:

Try removing those.

Thanks, that worked. But its pretty weird since i completely reinstalled the entire game.

If you unpack a zip file into an existing folder, it will typically merge with the existing files rather than clearing the folder and starting over. To completely reinstall, delete the folder first.

Only if your computer is 64bit, do the following

These instructions are for any version of Windows.

Go into your KSP directory:

Spoiler

(steam users go here) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program

Right click "KSP_x64"

Click "Create Shortcut"

(optional) Move the shortcut to your desktop

Run KSP

The reason why this may work:

If your computer is 64bit, it will only be using "half of its strength". if you have a modded version, usually 90% of crashes are caused by 64bit systems running 32bit versions of the game.

NOTICE: 64bit KSP will only run when the shortcut is clicked!

I just delete the 32 bit version.
