I' don't have expected those could be so modular... we have a new modular 1.25 cargo spacecraft :

and 0.625 end cap, some people have asked for that (for launch without dock)

This endCap could be also useful for the new adapter

I work also on a 0.625 lowprofile inline RCS to put on top of the Viking capsule and other spacecraft, because dock is actually hard and difficult, RCS are not balanced with only RCS on the service module.

These new inline RCS at 0.625 scale could be probably useful for small launcher.

For a smaller part to attach some equipment at the outside like solarpanels, batteries and so on.
If a kerbal fit into this little docking port it will into a 0.625 crew tunnel. :D

Maybe, but you could already do that with a 0.625 fueltank or other part, like the DiamantB Avionics ?

If you don't want a part with RCS or detail, i've made some 0.625 FuelTank.

I just don't think we need a specific part for that, maybe later idk

I make actually some test for the IVA, look like my idea work.

I've planned a "model" like a layer added to the MK1 Crew cabin IVA,

Hi,

first off kudos for the new station parts. They look awesome! As for the interior, I'd either suggest some form of crash couches (dunno if the Kerbals can lay down or sit reclined), or an alcove like on the ISS.

 

Another question: Are you planning to add a matching node part to your parts lineup?

I've planned to use the MK1 Crew cabin for base, that save a lot of time. My IVA is just a layer on top of the MK1 crew cabin IVA. What do you mean by "add a matching node part to your parts lineup?"

I don't have specific design or concept for now, i think to just use REstock or Tantares stuff in my game.

I'm absolutely loving this mod! I'm having an issue with the Penelope engine though. It seems to overheat way too easily! I'm using it as a first stage engine and even under 1000m/s at around 20km altitude (no visual heating effects) it still overheats and explodes!

Is this a bug or is the engine not meant to be used in atmosphere?
