kerbiloid
Why stick some iron balls on a glue, when there is already a duct tape? Why do this at all? A rather strange method of rocket repairing anyway. Edited July 17, 2019 by kerbiloid

Yes, just a duct tape can stick them alone, the glue is excessive. Edited July 18, 2019 by kerbiloid

Ultimate Steve
Seems to be a bit of a roll oscillation on stage 2 (or 3 depending on how you count). Edit: Was stage 1 or 2, not 2 or 3, it was the core. Edited July 20, 2019 by Ultimate Steve
Scotius
Too bad it's night launch. Sky looks clear - we could get a good view of Korolov's Cross Successful launch. Good old Soyuz worked perfectly, bird is in orbit, crew is safe. Happy anniversary of Apollo 11 Launch day

kerbiloid
MS-14 is already in VAB. FEDOR is going to fly on it on August, 22, and spend 1.5 weeks onboard the ISS. FEDOR has gotten its official name - Skybot F-850.(What do you say now, Skynet's T-800?) F-850's developer is "Androidnaya Tekhnika" / "Android Technics" company from Ural. A. Skvortsov, flying on MS-13, is trained to interact with the robot. During the flight F-850 will be first possessed by Skvortsov, then by the ground team. In future it will operate on its own, using AI. Because of the lightspeed delay in deep space.(What do you say now, Johnny-boy Connor?) https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=ru&sl=ru&tl=en&u=https://www.interfax.ru/russia/669859

kerbiloid
Spoiler Thanks to Magic Carpet with its "possessed/unpossessed mana" and Dungeon Keeper with its "possess a creature". A very perfect word for any remote control description. P.S. Also I like its spelling "-(o)ssess(e)-". kerbiloid
At least because it's hard to use a toilet when it's overturned.(The most general thumb rule to distinguish landers and orbiters, lol.) Also why cut a square hatch right next to the round one in the proper place? P.S. Just got it. Probably the artist thinks that the Soyuz crew can look forward while sitting in the capsule, so he depictured the ship with face down. Does the crew land sitting hanging in the capsule chairs under the ceiling with faces down? Or are they siiting in some temporary seats under the overturned toilet in the habitat? Anyway they can't see anything without cameras or mirrors. So, why put the ship upside down? Some kind of sick fantasy. Soyuz is equipped with a standard habitat oriented exactly fitting the lunar needs. If put the ship properly, like on the launchpad, there is a spherical room on top, with a couch and a buffet with integrated toilet, and all of them are oriented properly, like there is a gravity. Next to/between the couch and the buffet/toilet there is the only airlock door, facing down, exactly for an external ladder. Below there is a capsule with a pair of lawn chairs and a periscope spyglass attached to periscope and TV. Also, real men don't need a habitat, the capsule alone is enough for them.http://spacelin.ru/stati/lunnye-proekty-rkk-energiya/ Edited July 24, 2019 by kerbiloid
tater
They could alter the interior as they see fit, obviously, but it seems really bizarre to being the whole SM and DM to the surface. Seems like if they were gonna reuse the OM for a lander, you'd put the docking ring UP, and leave an entire Soyuz in LLO.
