Does anyone else like doing this?

Ever since I knew what to look for, I've just liked to look for Minmus in the Kerbin Sky, it just kinda makes me feel happy...

 

Also, is there anything besides Kerbol, Minmus, and the Moon that you can see from Kerbin's surface?

I like to do that with telescopes, it is very interesting and fun, especially from afar.

And yes, i once say a glimple of Eve, not sure if, but i also think i saw Dres,  but that is really unlikely.

There is this mod called DistantObjects i think that allows you to easily see all the planets from Kerbin, sometimes even spacecraft. I also wonder if you could navigate Kerbol using the backround stars.

Yup! Ever since I noticed Minmus from the surface or LKO, I'm constantly looking for it.  Didn't realize you could see Eve from Kerbin.

I know you can see Eve, Duna and Jool from Kerbin's surface, you just need to look out of a Kerbal's window and point in exactly the right direction (it's a lot easier from LKO as you can point the window in any direction).

You might be able to see the other celestial bodies but I've only been successful with the above three (and Minmus and Mun of course).
