Image help!

I was going to make an image of my plane with stats but I can't seem to get what I want, can anyone make an image with m pic and a gray translucent box that says the stats under it and has the flag here's me vision below

You may remember me as the "teach a man to fish, don't catch him one" one guy from your other thread.

However some people learn better from seeing it done so;

This took me about 5 mins in paint. A simple grey box with the "marker" fill effect for transparency, some green text, copy-paste your flag over. You could totally do this if you tried, I'm no photoshop wiz or anything myself. In fact I'm sure there are likely some changes you want to make to it as your vision may have been different to mine, open the image in paint and try making some tweaks, you can always undo them or reload the save if you screw up. As much as I dislike Windows, I love MS Paint.  There's something very appealing to how simple they keep it, since almost all image editing programs out there now feel like they need to be on a photoshop level.

Pinta isn't too bad.  But for quick and dirty editing, you can't beat Paint.  It's the only thing I miss about Windows.

@Jack5.exe, if you're just having trouble getting it to look the way you like, try using a program that does layering.  This will let you move stuff around and make any adjustments to each piece without worrying about affecting the background.

As a follow up to @Geonovast's excellent advice; Paint.net is a good compromise between paint's simplicity and photoshop's power.
