If i see it right there is a decoupler between the docking ports?

EVA a Kerbal and push the ring out of the way?

The problem is that the picture is almost black

Hard to tell but it looks like the two parts of the craft are stuck together by the decoupler after it fired?

If so, then try going to the tracking station and then switch back to one of the craft. Doing this deletes any uncontrolled parts as space debris  - or at least it does if you have debris turned off.

Design wise: The decoupler needs to go.
