Hello there fellow kerbonaut! i am Vanamonde, a fairly old kerbonaut in the forums :D! i am not very skilled as i bought the game 5 years ago.

Advice: start with a small rocket, fly it, then add parts and stages to see what works, building up to large craft. Test each stage in flight (or its intended function) before adding the next stage.

Thanks for the tip! I just started a new sandbox mode save to try out some stuff before moving to career and science mode, your tip really helps out :D

Is there any start-up tips you all can tell me :)

I would start by going up. ;)

Welcome @KerbOrigin!

I'm a firm believer that everyone should start the game literally messing around.  See what works, and definitely see what doesn't.  Make stupid looking rockets.  Blow stuff up.  Once you're a bit familiar with assembly and hitting the spacebar at the right times, then you'll know which specific questions you need to ask.
