Contracts give double funds. Is this a bug?

So i set my funds to 50%, and did the first.mission, "launch our first vessel!", With a $560 advance and $1,040 in completion for a total of $1,600.

Taking it and completing it i get the $560 advance, th3 $1,040 payout, and the $1,600 as if nothong was ever paid out. Essentially a $1,600 contract became $3,200.

Is this supposed to happen?

Sure it was the actual money and not notifications?

Yes, im sure. Im an accounting student soci decided to try a gsme where i track funds. In balancing the books after one flight i noticed a weird discrepancy in what i had vs what was reported and decided to investigate.

Narrowing down vessel recovery and excess funds, i built a vessel at cost of advance. So 560 funds. I crashed it, and my cash on hand was the advance, milestones

Did you maybe get a World First as well?

I'm testing this now with the cheapest craft possible.

Oh. No need to test.

---UPDATE---

You're supposed to get that.

You get the 560 for taking the contract, the 1040 for completing the contract, and the 1600 for completing that one part of the contract. It's only a coincidence that the first 2 add up to the 3rd one. It's also a bit more obvious on multi-part contracts.
