Yeah, the are very weak for climbing, but zig-zag-ing can get you far.......When you have enough electricity.

Shortly after things only got worse, Jebbie flipped and now he is stuck 200.000 meters high.

No more rescue missions, I've killed enough Kerbals so far, I'll just recover the rover and the jet and head back to the drawing board to come up with an even more stupid solution I guess . . .

Looks like Team Helter Skelter wants to be the first to reach the top of mount Kraken . . .

Will they do better then Jeb's El Kamino ?

Very nice attempt by Team Helter Skelter.

But they ran out of fuel and without rocket power this thing goes nowhere  . . .

I'm surprised they came so far with their little kart.

Right, in the meanwhile R&D worked on the El Kamino giving it 6 batteries, 4 fuelcells and 2 rockets.

Testing the rocket power, 89.6 m/s, that's 320 kph, not bad.

Now we need a new design for our transport.

@Triop here is the DropBox Link for the Edited Rover Wheel TR-2L you can copy these directly to your parts folder where youd find the wheel cfg file. the edited wheels should show that you now have 3 Versions to choose in your Wheels Category in the SPH

With the HighTorque edit I had it scale a 55degree mountain climb. Tried recording it but my cpu wasn’t happy so the capture ended up looking like Ice cream.

Try out the HighSpeed wheels. You might be supremely happy with the speed. I almost named the edit the “Tesla 2020” wheels chase they’re more quick than quick. But didn’t want to anger the copyright gods

Well, please do a circuit. I’ll enter a craft

The HighSpeed edit only has 15 degree angle for turning so once up at speed keyboard inputs are only 15 degrees at a time instead of 30 degrees. It helps.

if you have a low center of gravity a bit of downforce you can handle any corner that is thrown your way.

Hey @Triop, ever thought of running a demolition derby?  Don't know how you could make it competitive, but you could see how long it would take a ramming rover to wreck every building of KSC.
