Lol. The engine bell is 3.75m wide and the ship itself isn't very much wide, tall or sprawled out relative to the engine. That helps. When kerbin's in a good position (so you at least can make use of some orbital speed of kerbin). You aim your ship to the system. Burn those GU helium fusion engines until you go really fast. At the halfway point you turn your ship around and start breaking until the star system catches you. Some prefer to warp, jump or hyperedit. That's all up to the player.
