I don't have stock decouplers!!!

I have ksp on steam and when I verify game files it says I am missing 20 game files and they will be recovered. I start my game again and still have no base game decouplers. Is this a conflict with a mod?

Hard to say without knowing what you have installed.

No. I've never heard of this before.

I'd back up my saves folder, then uninstall/reinstall.

That’s what I just did. And don’t really have a save. I’ll probably end up uninstalling all my mods and seeing if that works. Then I’ll have to install the mods one at a time so that’s will be fun

We really can't much at all if you don't tell us what mods you have installed

And rather than doing them one by one, take half of them out, If the problem is resolved, you can reinstall half of the mods you took out.  If it didn't fix it after the first move, then you know it's still installed and you can take out half of the remaining mods.  Rinse and repeat, this will cut down on the number of moves and game loads you have to do to see if it fixes it.

Try this instead: Install them HALF at a time. If you have 60 mods, install 30 first, then 15, then 8, then 4, etc. Once you get the error, you know it's in the subset you just installed, then remove all mods and install half of THOSE at a time.

You'll find it in far less time.
