New patcher available...?

I am still being asked if I want to update the patcher every time I start the game. Has there been any word yet about how to tell if the patch has been updated? The file properties say it was modified at the time I last agreed, but the dialog box just keeps coming up.

Try running it. The new interface for the patcher is completely different to the old. If it looks new, it's been updated.

I'm still getting patcher update notifications even though I have the new patcher. The new patcher says I'm not authorized to look for a repair update though... I hope that's normal.

I still can't get the patcher to update. It states upon startup of KSP that it's updating the patcher every single time, but gives up after sub-2 seconds. It's nothing to do with my KSP account, I'm certain of that (unless for some crazy reason the site upgrades made it so that my account works fine on the site but not in KSP itself or the patcher; that would make no sense). I wonder if it's my antivirus software, but I'm thinking probably not. Even disabling AVG entirely, the same thing continues to happen.

Guys I really wouldn't worry about the patcher at this time, it's not finished yet and it's meant for when 0.17 comes out so there's less strain on Squads servers, it's not really set up for other versions.

Plus you can get 0.16 from your store account, so the patcher is redundant at this time

I got a little gray box when I started the game, I agreed to the update, it asked me to wait for a moment, and then it went away. Uh, did it do anything? It didn't come up the next time I started the game.

Well, if you go to your KSP folder, there is something called Patcher. The GUI of it looks a bit different. Nice GUI and detail huh?

the current download for ksp doesnt come with a patcher, so you cant go from the old to the new. what I meant was when 0.17 releases I will probably have to download it through the store anyway, no old patcher = no new patcher
