What Will You Be?

What are you worth? What is your value?

In life it is all too easy to devalue or debase valuable things, whether people or otherwise

Most of my life I measured my value by how others saw me, and other times by how I saw myself.

Truth is, without ever realizing it, I and others at times value themselves based off whatever or whoever they value most.

In this time of crisis, I have had time to reflect on my life, and hopefully so have you.

From now on, my resolve is to be more valuable, by becoming more like the person I wish I was. Which is also the same kind of person that one who cares a lot about me wants me to be anyway.

It will take work, but work never ever was a problem for me. Distraction on the other hand... but I digress.

For that matter, here is some awesome music to inspire anyone to be... valuable.

For me this song represents a moment the fog lifts metaphorically and I have what can be called a moment of clarity.

And provided I keep the 'fog' out... stuff WILL start to happen.

Don't worry. It's all good stuff!

Every person holds inside them the story of incredible cosmic voyages, worlds across time and space, deaths of tremendous energy that released new life...That's true of any object, of course, but we as living beings have the capability to experience it, to understand it, and to remember it, at least for a little while. We are vessels for the universe to experience itself. Through us, those stars where our atoms were forged can know about themselves.

Sometimes I think of myself, in some ways, as bigger than my body. I am the whole universe, and right now I am experiencing myself through a human life. Sometimes I feel a lot smaller than that, too. I feel confined inside my own brain. But I always remember that the universe is still there around me even if I can't see very well. And I remember that I'm part of that big, big story too.

Just made me think, I wonder what percentage of our bodies are recycled atoms from dead people?

Probably negligible, as there was just ten times more humans than now (~80 bln), and in the food pyramid the human is between herbivorous and carnivorous, so needs ~10...100 times greater biomass of plants than he weights, and ~100..1000 times greater mass of soil organics.

Also our atoms of lithium are 13 billion years old. This makes to think we are just Li-ion batteries.

That's probably not counting water, though. We consume and expel a lot of water.
