Hack a Sat CHALLENGE

This probably doesn't go in Challenges and Mission Ideas.

Anyone think they can hack a satellite to take a picture of the Moon?  The challenge is hosted by the US Air Force, and it involves hacking into and controlling real satellites and ground stations.  Perfect for veteran KSP players!  The actual challenge is a little too intense for my tastes, but there are probably people on these forums who might be interested.

Rewards are up to $50k!!!

That's a cheap way to hire skilled pentesters. Professional service of that magnitude would probably run into tens of millions.

Probably a few prestigious universities might host teams. 

 

Otherwise - if you have the capability to do it at home, why expose yourself unnecessarily to the NSA? 

 

Now, make the prize One Meelion Dollars and I might have to keep an eye out for Mike Meyers entry
