Actually, you can. Launch into a solar orbit, and then rendezvous with Duna like you would do rendezvous-ing with a thing you need to dock to. You would need loads of Delta-v though, upwards of >10000.

Usually while being in a transfer during time warp I usually go do something else. Like take a snack or something. It's also a good idea to leave your screen for a while so you can take a little screen break.

But you aren't the only one, Stratzenblitz doesn't like how long it takes either...

Nate Simpson has touched on that actually. He said that a dV map and a transfer window will be available in KSP 2.
