The kerbol eclipse is a work of art. Purely amazing.

Eclipses, both solar and Munar, happen every ~4 days, but only around half of those are visible from the KSC. Minmus eclipses are far rarer as it’s far too small to eclipse the sun and its inclined orbit makes it much less likely to be in the right plane at the same time as it moves behind Kerbin; even if it does line up right, it’s so small that actually seeing it in the first place is a challenge, much less during an eclipse.
