There should be a kuiper belt

It could just be comets that aren't in elliptical orbit, but it would be cool to see a kuiper belt. This would make building asteroid stations easier, there are also a few other reasons that other people could probably make...

That's a good idea. Maybe we could have some objects like MakeMake (and its moon), Arrokoth, and Haumea (plus its moons)

This would be cool. Randomly generated planets. That would be neat.

Or planets that would take a while until you had some tech unlocked.

Or upgraded to certain buildings or upgraded to certain levels.

ya. Beyond Eeloo there should be astroids. Just makes sense.

Sounds like that has already been confirmed. You won’t know where planets are until you get to a certain tech level.

At that point, the Kerbal Astronomical Society will decide that Eeloo is clearly no longer a planet, but just one of the Kuyper Belt objects.

And Eeloo will get angry and do a 2020 on Kerbin.

I'm not keen on randomly generated, beyond the small asteroids we have right now.  I'd rather have the base game experience the same for all players and the same solar system for any save I load. That allows for planning across many different saves and sharing with other players.

But yes, some far out dwarf planets would be great.
