Hmmm I'll look into that tomorrow

Frontier is meant to be super cold. While this temperature isn't habitable, the surviving Kerbals managed to set up an emergency colony with proper heating just before freezing.

If necessary, I will increase the temperature of Frontier. Also, can you describe what the bugs with the atmosphere look like? Thanks!

I plan on releasing an interstellar patch sometime in the future. My main priority right now is to fix bugs.

Is the interstellar patch available/been done yet? This pack looks amazing so I would love to add it to my main save

Edit: just been reading the other comments and saw the trouble getting this to work which is unfortunate. If I start a new save at some point I'll probably use this pack

is resource support planned?

Curiously, I started making a resources update for Precursors a while back but stopped because I was unsure of which modded resources to include, where to put them on each celestial body, and how they would help the player progress. If you give me some modded resource recommendations and a basic overview of how each (modded and unmodded) resource helps the player, I will create a resource update.

I play with kerbalism and often times real fuels.  Rational Resources is great for both.  As far as what/where water on the Polar caps of moons makes sense.  Metallic ore could be evenly distributed like stock ore for using extraplanetary launchpads.  Oxygen actually makes up 45% of the moons surface bound to regolith.

maybe the community resource pack or rational resources but idk im no modder
well since the only use of the stock ore resource is making fuel then its kinda self explanatory
and for instance the ones in MKS or EL would help by allowing building ships anywhere else than frontier

I have turned on this mod after long time and again got to the "Scar trasnparency" problem. The same thing happened when I incorectly loaded EVE and Scatterer when Frontier's ground became transparent and I could see Scar throught the ground. I fixed that by correctly loading EVE and Scatter. Now I with cheats landed on Scar in muddy basin and the same thing happened. Around 4000m I could see rocks, around 1500m the ground outline started to appear as purely white,  the closer I got the outline was more apperent before it started to turn into reddish-yellow color (I think thats the normal color Scar should have?) but this normal color is only right below the spacecraft and the sorrounding is either without ground texture or that white-ish outline. This issue is only on non-atmospheric celestial bodies tho!
I also got screenshot of it but idk how to send them on forums?
I have no clue why this is happening tho but the latest update mentioned something about this?

THE FUTURE OF PRECURSORS
I am sad to announce that Precursors' development will soon end. Once I release the long-requested Interstellar Update, Precursors will finally reach the point where I can consider it complete. There are many more features I would like to add and mods I would like to support, but time is not on my side; college is ramping up, and so is KSP 2's development. Additionally, I am developing my own space flight video game, which is absorbing a lot of my free time. Modders who wish to add new content or support to Precursors after its completion may do so after asking me for permission first.

I would like to note that Precursor's future is not a dead end, but rather an open door. If KSP 2 delivers on its promises regarding planet modding support, you can expect to see Precursors return with a fresh coat of paint. :)

Very cool, I would like to check it out when it is finished.

Also, I may add new content to precursors once it's finished and also once i'm better at mossing.

I wish you all the best for the future.

Hi.

I need two clarifications:

1) The year is still 424 days, but Frontier's orbital period is above 6 years. Is this intended? Do i need to install Kronometer? How much is Frontier's period exactly?

2) In a old post of this thread it said Frontier should have oxygen, but in the config file oxygen is flagged as "false". At the current state Frontier is still intended to have Oxygen?

Thanks.

Frontier's orbital period is 6 years 297 days (2853 Kerbin days; 1786 Frontier days; 61617827 seconds). Kronometer will let you change the calendar, but this mod doesn't have a patch for it, so you'll need to write your own configuration file if you want the year length to match the orbital period.

According to this more recent post from March, Frontier is indeed still intended to have oxygen:

1. Frontier SHOULD have oxygen, at least in the most recent version of Precursors

2024: New year, new looks

I decided on a whim to take a look at Precursors again today, where I discovered that several celestial bodies are still lacking sufficient detail.

As you can see below, that will not be the case for long.
