It takes 1188 science points just to max out Tier V, and it would be damned impressive if someone managed to get that far without leaving the atmosphere. Now, it could be done with contracts...but that is one serious grind. With all of that said , the OP hasn't logged on 2 weeks. So I doubt this is going anywhere. I did exactly that for my Caveman challenge. Was fun to go hunt for all the "splased <biome>" science on Kerbin: The OP clearly states "without your Kerbals ever leaving the atmosphere". To finish it I used a rover, and drove around to every ksc building multiple times, then after that I would put the science in a science lab attached to a hot air balloon using the mod "Coldj Hot Air Balloons" I have finished the challenge.
