Information: This parts pack is inspired by the USS Discovery One ship, from the 2001: A Space Odyssey feature film. It is not meant to be an exact replica, nor is it constructed to scale. However, it's meant to be highly reminiscent of that ship, with the correct general overall shape and proportions. After searching for similar models made by other KSP modders, and finding that little had been done, I decided that it fell to me to fill the void. We hope you enjoy this pack. I thought I would honor it by giving it the gift of a Textures Unlimited Recolor Depot patch, allowing Joolian Discovery parts to be giving a custom paint-job so long as the user has TexturesUnlimited installed (and JoolianDiscovery too, of course) Here's a preview from when I was almost finished working out the kinks (in this image, the Main Pod, Comms, and Engines haven't been finished yet, but they're done now): Here's a link to my thread, JoolianDiscovery was one of the first five mods I developed configs for.
