Mods for airbags

Hey I need mods for a rover that I am making its small enough to use airbags but I don't have any mods for them. I'm on 1.12.3 and the ones I try don't even add parts

There used to be a standalone mod for airbags, but it has since been rolled into this pack.

When I first read the title I thought you meant airbags like in a passenger car; as in for accident protection, for non-rover craft.  I'm thinking:  I'd rather have a  parachute and bail out early as an airbag in a lithobrake is not going to do the trick, ha ha

Every time I've ever used these my craft just explodes on touch down.  I'm going under the 750m/s too, am I doing something wrong or do they just not work correctly?

I'm using probes too so it's not like I'm turning my Kerbals into green jelly.

I haven't actually used them, but when I was finding that link I thought I read somewhere that you have to be going below 500m/s.

Per the original thread -

NOTE: DO NOT USE THIS AS YOUR SOLE DECELLERATION MECHANISM! These are fun and bouncy, but will not allow you to collide into mountains at 500m/s!

I looked at the configs, and each size has a different crash tolerance.

Small: 150

Medium: 200

Large: 250

thanks ive tried it, i feel it dosent look good to me radial parts are more my style

thanks ive decided to go with this mod it looks good and adds more useful parts than i needed!
