I made this today! I'm proud of it, I had to share it here. :D

It has functioning walkways, is self-sustaining with TAC Life Support, and is compatible with RemoteTech. It also uses Infernal Robotics to make the middle section spin on its own.

...Now to get it into orbit!

Seriously... you made me stare at your creation for a whole 8,41 seconds...

This is a stock refinery station orbiting Minmus. The rear ports are for the 'ore piggies' that shuttle to the minining rig on the surface. Right now a full one is docked, and and empty one just left to get more ore. Total capacity of the station is about 13,000 LF and about 10,000 OX. (in this window we're just seeing the Piggie's stats)

Station has an LV-909 for maneuvering, and docking space for four visiting ships on the forward end. The design worked so well at Minmus I just put another in LKO, here it is boosting...

...and circularizing.

They're a part of Lackluster Labs, I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy making ridiculous-but-good-looking space stations.

Thanks everyone! :D

Well, here's my old fuel station around Ike, "Kepler". This is (very) shortly before retiring the station in favor of the much smaller "Iota" since docking at 10 fps was getting old.

And a little earlier in it's career:

Here is one of my simple designs, made it for a contract, witch requested: 8 seats, sciance lab, ISRU, atleast 6000 Liquid fuel. and put it orbiting Minmus. The Nucleat stage has about 11k Liquid fuel, had about 8000 or so left at Minmus =)

Here is my current project! It is still a work in progress, I got a bit carried away and am now designing an airlock similar to the Quest Airlock (lets call it the Kwest Airlock shall we?) just to put on this station, it also needs 2 more solar arms coming off of the HabHub

The whole thing is 36 parts! THIRTY SIX! Thanks to the amazingly awesome UbioZur Welding mod

Nice station! What mods did you use for it?

near future spacecraft/construction/solar panels , kosmos , angara pack (for the orbiter ptk in the last pic) , heat management , KW rocketry for struts and batteries and stuff, camera tools mod (absolutely nessesary for awesome pics, just added yesterday!awesome camera!) , aies aerospace for the antennas and procedural parts.

I got some more pics here http://techstepman.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=/ .

to say the truth I saw this vid and loved it so I tried to replicate it.

.my idea is before learning how to build original and beautiful things in ksp first understand how other people do it. Edited by techstepman

My Space station (aka Starport ISS) using mostly stock parts. I think the only thing not stock is the radiators I added to help cool down the ships that dock after their long burn and for the Nuclear powered tug system.

I have three more large parts to add to complete it before I can add more kerbals as well as some escape pods after they have completed their year long space shift :) Might have to start using that wielding mod to reduce part counts.
