Saving Jeb

A while ago I accidentally stranded Jeb in an orbit around the Sun. He only has three parachutes, a heat shield, and he is in a Mk 1 Command Pod. He can't EVA because one of the Radial-Mount parachutes is covering the EVA hatch. Is there any way for me to save him?

If you can get a rescue craft to him that has an Engineer, they could EVA over to the pod and use the orbital construction feature to either attach a docking port to the pod, or to remove the parachute that's covering up the hatch.  You could then dock to the pod with the rescue craft or EVA Jeb over, respectively.

Another option would be grabbing Jeb's pod with the claw, then transfer Jeb to the rescue ship with Transfer crew

check the missing crew revive setting and make jeb suicide(maybe like terminating the mission)
