morgoth
I have to say, changing the parts naming in the heavy lifters from "SY" to "SYL" [snip] broke my saves, my existing, in flight crafts, etc. There's also missing textures all over now. I guess I'm manually recovering the saves, and deleting this mod as soon as those crafts are recovered... UPDATE: I actually had to revert to previous mod version (from 2018). This latest version is just too broken... Edited April 27, 2023 by James Kerman Redacted by a moderator

Keep your Module Manager up to date How to support this and other great mods by zer0Kerbal Comment, click, like, share, up-vote, subscribe no - you just didn't read the release notes. And where, pray tell, in the Release Notes, says that the part names have changed, breaking previous saves? And why release an incompatible upgrade instead of just releasing an altogether new version? I can see a recommendation to install from scratch, but no explanation whatsoever as to why, and it doesn't solve the main issue: You are breaking backwards compatibility, making previous saves useless... Also, for those not using a mod manager, this is not a good enough solution. Edited May 30, 2023 by morgoth Adding info
ssd21345
Ha, this thread release notes didn't mention downloading spacey expanded from Curseforge too! Joke aside, ckan still index old version of spacey expanded, I asked ckan ppl to have a look into this mod and expanded. Missing texture is from missing dependencies. TheBok
Hi, firstly thanks for taking up these mods. May I humbly suggest making it more obvious to users that the SpaceY mods now have the somewhat unusual requirement that each mod (Lifters/Expanded/Corp) needs to be placed inside a special "SpaceY" folder which itself should be placed in the GameData folder - I have dozens of KSP mods and have been playing for almost a decade and never heard of such a thing, though I may just be out of the loop. When I was trying to manually install Expanded/Lifters/Corp, I just dropped the three mods into the GameData folder like every other mod I use, but nothing worked - took me quite a while to realise that they now have this file structure requirement. I understand now it's in the readme - but since the average KSP modder will just do what they do for every other mod and drop them all in GameData, it may be advisable to have a more obvious notice. If it is stated somewhere and I missed it please forgive me. o7
